Root canal treatment removes infection from the nerve (the pulp) and the root canals, cleans and disinfects them, and then seals them with a filling material. It is carried out when the pulp has become inflamed or infected through decay or injury, and it is essential if the tooth is to be saved.
Where a case calls for it we make a precise diagnosis using CT imaging, and for difficult cases we have arrangements in place to refer you to an endodontic specialist. We will always propose the approach that is right for you, so that you can be treated with confidence.
